Besides aging into a classic Colfax store, The Chuck Wagon Diner may well be one of the West's few representatives of an American Tradition.
In 1957, this fully equipped diner was brought from a New Jersey manufacturer. The diner, weighing 46 tons, was shipped to Colorado by rail and placed on its present basement foundation. Because of its great weight, it may be as far west as you will find a diner.
These prefabricated diners, having evolved from the horse drawn trolley cars, turned restaurants, are indigenous to the northeastern states. In 1950, there were an estimated 6,000 of these diners in existence. Now there are only about half that number and "shrinking at a clip."
In 1997, the National Historic Society inducted Davies' Chuck Wagon Diner into the National Historical Registry.
We, here at the Chuck Wagon, greatly appreciate your business. We will strive to make your experience with us a pleasurable one - one that you'll want to return to.
LISTEN TO HIS INTERVIEW-http://kzkoradio.com/kzko-podcasts/ivan-ellis-single-debut-interview
Actor and vocalist, Ivan Demond Ellis, was born October 31, 1991 in Chicago, IL. Ivan experienced a traditional upbringing as the third of four children of Brenda Ellis, homemaker, and Isaac Ellis Jr, a mechanical supervisor for the Chicago Transit Authority. Growing up on the south side of Chicago, Englewood to be exact, Ivan was exposed to some of life’s harshest realities. His parents were successful at keeping their children from making undesirable life choices through heavy involvement in church and extra curricula activities. Ivan was dedicated to piano lessons, drum lessons, choir rehearsal, and martial arts training.
Ivan’s talents peeked at an early age. His parents discovered his vocal abilities when he was 7 years old as he sang bits and pieces of “The Star Spangled Banner” during bath time. From that day forward, his father made sure Ivan’s voice was heard and ensured he sang at any given opportunity; karate tournaments, weddings, church services, and community events. Ivan’s involvement in music increased his musicianship as well. He mastered the drums and was appointed lead drummer at his church at 12 years old. Ivan found himself engrossed in music. He desperately wanted to see himself from the audience’s perspective; so, he would sneak and use his father’s hand-held camcorder to record himself singing. This led to the discovery of a new love- acting. At 9 years old, Ivan and his cousins started re-enacting scenes from their favorite movies and sitcoms, on camera. Over the next few years he directed and starred in a repertoire of home movies which deepened his passion for acting. He was heavily involved in the drama department of his high school starring in various school productions. He still frequently visits the school to share his journey with the students hoping to motivate them to keep reaching for the stars.
Ivan Ellis’ experience spans across a broad spectrum of theatre, on-screen, and stage performances. At 17 years old, Ivan was cast in his first leading theater role as John the Beloved in the Refuge production of “Jesus of Nazarath” under the direction of Steve Munsey and Winter Dojcinocski. In 2010, he signed with the infamous Chicago-based Gray’s Talent Agency. After the twelve month contract expired, Ivan used the time to fine tune his acting techniques. His first major on-screen appearance was in the 2011 award-winning short film, “L Train”. In the same year, Ivan made an appearance in Jennifer Hudson’s music video, “Where You At?”, which is where he met his soon-to-be music manager, Jelani “Jay” Jones. Determined to stay connected to his musical roots, Ivan signed to Dreamer Management in 2013. After gaining small roles in various movies, stage plays, and music videos Ivan earned his first leading role as Troy in the 2013 movie “You & Me”. 2013 proved to be a major year for Ivan, the singer, as well. He opened for LeToya Luckett at the historic Howard Theatre in Washington DC, performed at various notable events such as African Fest and the National Cherry Blossom Festival, and shared the stage with headliners such as: Brandy, Tweet, Syleena Johnson, Amerie, and Raheem DeVaughn. Another milestone presented itself in 2014 when Ivan landed his first prime-time principle role as Vic on episode 207 of the NBC hit series Chicago PD. This achievement led to Ivan being signed to Chicago’s Paonessa Talent Agency.
With a passion that increases with every professional experience, Ivan Ellis has an undeniable commitment to entertainment. He aims to succeed in both industries earning Oscar, Sag and Grammy recognitions.

Sean Terry served with the Marines from 2001 through 2005 and fought in the Fallujah area in 2005. He was exposed to the burn pits while he was serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. BURN PITS have types of waste products including, but are not limited to: chemicals, paint, medical and human waste, metal / aluminum cans, and so much more.
Hundreds of veterans coming back from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are falling ill and many are dying of what's being called the new "Agent Orange": open air burn pits.
Sean's diagnosis came quickly after months of complaining about serve bouts with what he thought was acid reflux. September 13, 2014 was the date a VA doctor found cancer in Sean's esophagus. She said, at the time, they thought they could beat it.
In January 2014, tumors appeared next to his brain. Shortly after that, doctors used the word "terminal".

What Is A Dad?
A dad is someone who
wants to catch you before you fall
but instead picks you up,
brushes you off,
and lets you try again.
A dad is someone who
wants to keep you from making mistakes
but instead lets you find your own way,
even though his heart breaks in silence
when you get hurt.
A dad is someone who
holds you when you cry,
scolds you when you break the rules,
shines with pride when you succeed,
and has faith in you even when you fail…

Lakewood,Colorado- Skip and special Guest Host Diana Faltermaier interviewed Doc Glass Window Washing's John Klepper and Skip interviewed Diana and they conversed over the time she has spent in accounting and her enthralled passion in the Media business.
To Begin With, Skip happened to catch a glimpse of the magazine Diana was taking a brief peep at. It created some inquisition as to what it was. Diana Tells skip it's about the Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce http://www.cwcc.org/ and the State Top 25 Business Women. Going over the ethnic diversity and the power women strive to leave in the business world.
Diana also seemed ecstatic when chatting with Skip over the experiences she had while attending Colorado Media School http://beonair.com/denver. They delved into the intricacies of the media market and the advantages of working in a smaller city and having the dedication in pursuing the craft and maintaining connections.
Skip and Diana then introduced John Klepper of the Doc Glass Window Washing Company http://www.docglassco.com/index.html. Skip and John mentioned their intolerance for short periods of cold weather. John then went over what an average job cost is and the time frame that can provide service within. Dawn Dish Soap http://www.dawn-dish.com/us/dawn/ was then discussed for a few minutes on how John uses to clean his windows, how a neighbor of his actually uses it brighten the blades of grass for a shinier lawn and the many uses in which it serves a purpose.

“We started growing with listeners each and every day,” chief executive Richfield said. “You’d see the numbers go up, and then you’d start getting bands hitting you up.”
That band contact is what created KZKO.
“We started to broadcast artists across the nation, which all of the sudden became a really big thing,” he said. As they started to stream live performances of bands online, the station really came into its own.
KZKO is classified as a top-40 radio station, but beyond the label it has a large variety of genres, including classic rock, jazz, hip hop and funk.
